Digisound 80 (a musical synthesizer from 1980) replica/build.

These were originally a magazine DIY kit built from 1980-82, but I couldn't find any for sale... so I made my own!

Built from original plans and PCB layouts.

Either acid etched via toner transfer or CNC milled PCBs (layout scanned from original 1980 magazine and milled).

Panels cut and drilled, then etched graphics with a laser.

​

All hand soldered, wired, and calibrated via oscilloscope.
